Edwina is an Australian artist living on the Gold Coast, on Yugambeh Country. Originally from Sydney, she spent over ten years working in England and exploring Europe.
She works across a range of media—ink, pastels, watercolours, acrylics, and oils—and finds inspiration in the human form, nature, and moments from everyday life.
Influenced by icons like Lee Krasner, Sally Gabori, Dorothea Tanning, Willem de Kooning, Van Gogh, Matisse, and Rothko, Edwina loves experimenting with abstract and impressionist styles, especially when it comes to playing with vibrant colours.
Under the Italian Sun
25cm x 25cm | Oil on Canvas | Framed in Natural Pine
Two women rest quietly beneath an umbrella by the Italian coast, captured in a moment of warmth and stillness. Under the Italian Sun evokes the soft glow of summer afternoons — where the sea shimmers, time slows, and connection lingers in the air. A gentle meditation on friendship, leisure, and light.
